TKC Round 1 Race Report, Warden Law 2026

The 2026 TKC Championship season began last weekend at Warden Law, with Round 1 delivering a smooth and well-structured event across all three days. Conditions remained consistent throughout, with dry and sunny weather and temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees providing an ideal environment for racing. With over 220 drivers in attendance, the meeting featured full grids across all classes and maintained a steady timetable from start to finish.

The championship would like to thank Warden Law Kart Circuit for hosting and accommodating the large entry, as well as all championship partners for their continued support. Appreciation also goes to Jake Peach for providing commentary throughout the weekend, alongside the officials and marshals who ensured the event ran efficiently.

MightE Bambino

The MightE Bambino final saw Jules Nash and Luka pead battle it out for the win, with honours eventually going to Nash by just 0.1s. The pair set the pace at the front, sharing the fastest lap of the race with a 1:12.21. Behind them, Teddy Smith secured third place after running consistently in the leading group, while Eli Parkhouse and Oliver Reynolds completed the top five following steady drives. Top novice honours went to Max West, while Eli Parkhouse was the leading privateer.

MightE Cadet

Similarly to its bambino counterpart, MightE Cadet provided action from start to finish. Harry Stinson and Ansel Murray fought for the win, with just 0.06s separating them at the flag. The flag fell on Harry Stinson. Henry Hales completed the podium after holding position across the final. Jax Wong and Freddie Dye rounded out the top five, with Stinson also recording the fastest lap of the race. Freddie Dye was the top novice, with Jax Wong the highest placed privateer.

Micro MAX

Sebastian Crawford delivered a controlled performance in Micro MAX, establishing himself at the front and maintaining that advantage throughout the race. Freddie Baker held second place with consistent pace, while Arthur Rhodes completed the podium after running within the leading group. Jenson Darlow and Zach Andrew followed closely behind to complete the top five, with Crawford also setting the fastest lap. Top novice in class was Sebastian Talbot, while Zach Andrew was the leading privateer.

Honda Cadet

Honda Cadet also finished with a very small margin at the front, as Luca Bicocchi took victory by just 0.04 seconds over Archie Cannon. Archie Loveridge completed the top three, with Deno Rowlands fourth and Marcus Cooper fifth. Cannon recorded the fastest lap with a 1:00.17. Top novice honours went to Freddie Drury, while Sebastian McCarthy was the highest placed privateer.

Inter MAX

InInter MAX, Jenson Sayell opened his campaign with victory, finishing 1.02 seconds ahead of James Roots. Hugo McCluskey completed the podium, while Logan Rolfe and Maximilian Abrahart completed the top five. Abrahart set the fastest lap of the race with a 55.92. Ayrton Galsworthy was the top novice, with race winner Jenson Sayell also the leading privateer.

Rotax Junior Primo

Rotax Junior Primo saw Jacob Underhill take a commanding win, leading from lights out to the drop of the checkered flag. Jude Puddefoot finished just behind in second after a charge through the field with Jaxson Heath taking third. Morgan Cooney and Zayn Perry completed the top five. The fastest lap went to Puddefoot with a 54.03. Top novice in class was Aaron Berridge, while Jaxson Heath was the highest placed privateer.

Junior Rotax

In Junior Rotax, Ryan Rappini secured victory by 0.51 seconds over Noah Moulton, with Sam Flynn completing the podium. Jack Collinson finished fourth and Zach Turner fifth. Turner recorded the fastest lap of the final with a 53.34. Noah Stamp was the top novice, with Zac Waddell the leading privateer.

Senior Rotax

Senior Rotax closed the weekend with a closely packed top five. Harrison Crowther took the win, with Hugh Moulton second and Joshua Smith third. Kai Newman and Rory Hinckley completed the top five, with only 1.67 seconds covering those five drivers at the finish. The fastest lap was set by James Kell with a 52.64. Rory Hinckley was the top novice, while Melissa Adrian was the highest placed privateer.

Round 1 at Warden Law provided a solid start to the 2026 TKC Season, with strong entries, favourable weather and a full programme completed across the weekend.
